Hi, I’m Rebecca — the heart behind Rebecca’s Weddings. I'm from Joplin, and by day, I am a Title One reading teacher at a local elementary school. I got ordained to perform a special family member's ceremony, and what started as a favor quickly grew into a second career that I love.
I specialize in custom, meaningful wedding ceremonies in southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, Southeast Kansas, and Northeast Oklahoma. Start by filling out the contact form with your wedding date, location, and ceremony details. Whether you're planning a full wedding or a small elopement in Joplin, Springfield, Northwest Arkansas, Kansas City, or a surrounding area, this helps me check availability and learn more about your vision.
Step Two:
Confirm Availability and Pricing, Secure Your Date
If I’m available for your date, I’ll respond with ceremony package options and clear pricing. I believe in transparency—if travel or rehearsal attendance is needed, it will be included so you know your total cost upfront. Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over your secure paylink for deposit payment and booking policy. Your date is officially reserved once those are received.
Step Three:
Ceremony Planning Begins
After booking, we’ll start creating your ceremony! I’ll send over a questionnaire for you to fill out with your partner. Every ceremony I perform is customized to reflect each couple’s unique relationship.

Step One:
Rehearsal
If your package includes a rehearsal, I’ll attend and guide your wedding party through the processional, positioning, timing, and recessional so everyone feels confident and prepared.
Step Two:
Day Of
On your wedding day, I arrive early. After checking in with you, I check in with the DJ, photographer, and venue/wedding coordinator to ensure your ceremony runs smoothly.
Step Three:
After the Ceremony
After the ceremony, I ensure all legal paperwork is completed and properly filed in the state of Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, or Oklahoma. My goal is to make your experience smooth, meaningful, and completely stress-free.
